Quadratics strand test, please see handout for topics covered.

All topics covered in the quadratics unit, including: graphing parabolas, working with vertex form, factoring, expanding, solving quadratic equations, etc.

Solve by factoring, completing the square, and using the quadratic formula.

There will be a quiz on Monday, covering expanding, simplifying, and factoring polynomials.

Unit test on solving systems of equations graphically, and using substitution and elimination. Word problems will be included.

The strand test covers all topics to date. You should be able to solve problems involving analytic geometry (length of a line segment, midpoint, and so forth) as well as solve systems of equations using substitution, elimination, etc. Word problems appear on day two.

The systems of equations assignment is due this Friday at the end of lunch, when pie is normally served.

Questions will test all three methods of solving systems of equations: graphing, substitution and elimination.
